Hanataba

No more dull flower bouquets. Hanataba has developed a tool that gives all your bouquets a perfect spiral and an airy shape, entirely without florist skills.

About the client

About Hanataba

Hanataba is a Swedish invention with a name and inspiration from Japan. Tying a bouquet is not easy, but with a Hanataba you can create creative, airy and beautiful bouquets without florist training. Choose your favourite flowers (they can just as well come from the roadside, the florist or the supermarket), thread them through your Hanataba, twist, and enjoy your bouquet.

Hanataba is sold partly through retailers and partly through the company's own online shop, which Trendflow has been tasked with marketing.

Objectives

Objectives

Trendflow's main objective for the work with Hanataba is to drive conversions through their own website and online shop with ads on Facebook and Instagram. The advertising is mainly focused on their own product, Hanataba, but also on another florist tool, the “blomsterfakir”. The goal is, of course, a stable, positive ROAS while the brand is strengthened by exposing ads to relevant audiences.

Solution

Solution

Since Hanataba is a unique innovation protected by both design and trademark rights, the value lies primarily in the product itself, but also in the Hanataba brand. It has therefore proved important to use ads that clearly explain and demonstrate both how the product works and how beautiful the bouquets you can create with it are.

The same principles apply to driving sales of the blomsterfakir, which is also a creative tool anyone can use to create flower arrangements at home. Sales of this tool also benefit from building the Hanataba brand with the right associations. Here too, the focus has been on ads that inspire and explain how the product is used. We naturally adapt the ad content depending on where in the customer journey the audiences are, alongside analysis and testing.

Beyond the ads, we have actively worked on building a campaign and audience structure that enables advertising in three different countries (Sweden, Norway and Denmark) with a constant, positive ROAS. This has been done through testing and ongoing development of the audiences and the balance between them, as conditions in the ad account change and evolve.

”We are very happy with the collaboration with Trendflow. It is a great relief to hand over what I personally consider a tedious task to someone who enjoys analysing data to optimise sales, and Trendflow demonstrably knows exactly what they are doing. I was also pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to scale sales up to other countries.”
Christian Jonasson CEO of Hanataba
